Dr. John Thomas, Chief Executive Officer, Director and Co-Founder

As founder of TensorComm, Dr. John Thomas has over 18 years of experience in the communications and signal processing industry. Prior to founding TensorComm, Dr. Thomas co-founded Data Fusion Corporation, a defense contracting firm that created the intellectual property at the foundation of TensorComm. His work has focused on technology development in smart antennas, interference suppression, signal tracking and signal identification. Before co-founding Data Fusion, Dr. Thomas worked at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Signal Processing from the University of Colorado at Boulder.


Anand Narayan, Vice President, Engineering

Dr. Narayan leads the Engineering Team at TensorComm and is responsible for systems architecture, prototype development, as well as evaluation and integration activities with baseband providers. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai, and has a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Prior to joining TensorComm, he worked as a Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore.


Mary Allmaras, Vice President, Business Development

Ms. Allmaras manages relationships with wireless service operators for all testing and deployment efforts. Prior to joining TensorComm, Ms. Allmaras served as Vice President for Qwest Wireless Engineering and as Vice President of US WEST Wireless Network Operations. There, she was responsible for technologies to support the network growth and capacity planning initiatives including network planning and design decisions through the initial build-out of the CDMA network. Ms. Allmaras has over 19 years of experience in the wireline and wireless telecommunication industries and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.


Gary Leslie, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Leslie has over 30 years of executive experience in both large corporations and entrepreneurial start ups. Before joining TensorComm, Mr. Leslie was the CEO of Colorlink Inc. and still serves on its board. Previously, Mr. Leslie was Chairman and COO of Altai Software Inc., was the former President of Muller Company and worked in the Data Processing Division of IBM. He earned an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.


Peter Mannetti, Chairman

Mr. Mannetti currently serves as a Managing Partner of iSherpa Capital, a venture capital firm focused on wireless and supporting technologies. Prior to joining iSherpa Capital, Mr. Mannetti was the CEO of Qwest Wireless where he built Qwest Wireless into a billion dollar company. Prior to founding Qwest Wireless, Mr. Mannetti was Vice President at BellSouth Mobile Data and held various management positions during his 18-year tenure at General Electric.


Thomas A. Cullen, Director

As President and Chief Operating Officer of TensorComm, Mr. Cullen brings 24 years of experience from the telecom and cable industries. Before joining the company, Mr. Cullen was Executive Vice President of Charter Communications, one of the largest cable operator in the U.S.. His background includes senior leadership roles in sales, marketing, business development and venture finance. Mr. Cullen previously served as President of MediaOne Ventures and also led the Internet Services organization for MediaOne’s U.S. broadband organization. He has served as a Board Director of several public and private companies as well various industry organizations. Mr. Cullen received a B.S. in Marketing from Northern Arizona University and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado.


Steve Halstedt, Director

Mr. Halstedt is currently Managing Director and Co-founder of Centennial Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in network enterprises and related enabling technology and software companies. Before founding Centennial in 1981, Mr. Halstedt was Executive Vice President and Director of Daniels & Associates, Inc., a private communications service company involved in cable television system operations. He received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1999 in the category of Supporter of Entrepreneurship, which recognizes a standard of entrepreneurial excellence. In addition, he is the Founding President of the Venture Capital Association of Colorado and on the board of the National Venture Capital Association.


S. Kim Hatfield, Director

Mr. Hatfield is President of Crawley Petroleum Corporation, an Oklahoma based Oil and Gas Company. In addition to its petroleum industry activity, Crawley Petroleum participates in a number of ventures in other fields, and Mr. Hatfield serves as a director on a number of these boards.


Don Marsh, Director

Mr. Marsh is currently Senior Vice President of Development of Castle Energy Corporation where he is responsible for all corporate finance functions for the company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Marsh served as Managing Director of Investment Banking for Chemical Bank. He has extensive experience in financial transactions including the sale of public equities, mergers and acquisitions and debt financing.
